Gym Comrade app for iPhone and iPad

Gym Comrade is for active people to search and find a gym partner at their nearby gym or fitness center to help with their health goals. The app provides the opportunity to connect and chat with your gym comrade and arrange a time to help each other workout. If you like the app please share and encourage your friends to use it as the more people that use it the more gym partners you can find and connect with.

Gyms are available to search worldwide via the Google API. However if you cant find your gym please contact us to let us know.

Key Functions of the App:

* 3 Suggested Gym Comrades on Home Screen based on profile search criteria.
* View potential gym partners either in map view or list view.
* Maintain your personal profile – complete 100% to stand out from everyone else with your profile pic shown in map view.
* Specify in your profile whether you want to search for a male, female or both genders.
* Specify what time of the day you prefer to workout.
* Specify what you need help with from a gym comrade (eg: spotting, cardio, running).
* Specify the range from your location that you would like to search for a gym partner.
* Specify the age group that you would like to search between for your gym comrade.
* Specify your body type.
* Specify your fitness goal.
* Introduce yourself in the "About Me" section.
* LGBT friendly option for gym partners.
* Two In-App Promotions available to purchase.
* Promote Yourself offer for 1 week, 2 weeks or a month. Purchase to have your own ad displayed as an overlay to users in your area and be promoted to the top users listed in list view. Once the offer is purchased complete the ad text you want to appear under your profile screen.
* Instant Direct Message Offer – purchase points to message potential gym partners instantly and directly (without requiring the approval process).
* Pending Invites - where you will find requests received from a potential gym comrade.
* Pending Requests - where you will find requests sent to a potential gym comrade.
* Push notifications for new request/invites and new messages from your Gym Comrades.
* Gym Comrades - where all of your gym comrades are listed. Here you can chat and invite your gym comrade to a training session.
* Block Functionality - simply click on the gym comrade you wish to block from contacting you and click on the block button. Blocking will also ensure that the user can no longer see you on the map.
* Invite your friends - the more people using it the more potential gym partners for everyone.
* My Gyms - add a gym to your list and see how many members from that gym are using Gym Comrade.

Please note that Gym Comrade requires users permission to access their location details and continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Location settings can be changed within your profile screen.
